The most common version is the TOEIC Listening and Reading test, which assesses how well you understand English in professional settings. A separate Speaking and Writing test is also available.

The TOEIC Format
The main TOEIC Listening and Reading test contains 200 multiple-choice questions split evenly between the two skills.

About 75 minutes and 100 questions on texts, emails, and business documents.
Speaking (optional)
A separate test of spoken English for professional situations.
Writing (optional)
A separate test of written English for the workplace.
How TOEIC is Scored
The TOEIC Listening and Reading test is scored from 10 to 990, combining separate Listening and Reading scores (each 5 to 495). Many employers look for scores of 700 and above, though the target depends on the role and company.
