Studying English in Baguio from Saudi Arabia
What to know before you apply, and where to find everything in your own language.
A&J e-Edu Academy is an English academy in Baguio City, in the mountains of northern Luzon, roughly 1,500 meters above sea level. The altitude is why Baguio is noticeably cooler than the rest of the Philippines. This page is a starting point for planning the trip.

Before you travel
A Saudi passport gets you into the Philippines without a visa for an initial stay of 30 days, as long as your passport is valid for at least six months beyond the period you intend to stay and you are carrying a return or onward ticket. Courses that run longer than that are handled by extending your stay at the Bureau of Immigration once you are here, which our team walks you through. Separately, every foreign student on an English course studies under a Special Study Permit, and because A&J is accredited by the Bureau of Immigration to enroll international students, we process that for you after you arrive. Immigration rules change by circular, so please confirm the current position with the Bureau of Immigration before you book anything.
Getting to Baguio
Manila is the practical gateway from Saudi Arabia. Ninoy Aquino International Airport carries the Gulf connections, and the road north to Baguio from there takes roughly five to seven hours depending on traffic and which terminal you land at. Clark International Airport is much closer to Baguio, about three hours by road, but it has far fewer long-haul connections, so most students arriving from the Gulf come through Manila. Either way our team meets you at the airport and takes you up, and the arrival guide sets out exactly how that works.
