Choosing a school in another country is mostly a list of small practical worries, and for a Muslim student several of them are the same every time.
This page answers the ones we can answer properly, and says so plainly where we cannot yet. We would rather you arrive knowing exactly what is here than arrive to find a sentence on a website was optimistic.
A halal station, in the same dining hall as everyone else
The dining hall runs a dedicated halal station. The part that matters day to day is where it is: in the dining hall, at the same meal times as everybody else. You are not arranging your own food, not eating on a different schedule, and not leaving campus to find a meal.
Meals are part of the course fee rather than an extra, so this is not a cost that lands separately either.

A manager for Arabic-speaking students
There is a dedicated manager here for Arabic-speaking students, covering Saudi Arabia and the wider Gulf. The practical questions go to a member of staff whose responsibility is this group rather than to a general help desk, and so do the ones that are not purely practical. Staff names are not published on this website, for privacy.

What we are not claiming yet
Three things a Muslim student reasonably wants to know are not on this page, because we are not going to write them from guesswork:
- whether there is a space set aside for prayer on campus, and where it is
- where the nearest mosque is, and how far
- what changes during Ramadan, meal times in particular
If any of those decides your choice of school, ask us and you will get a straight answer from the person who actually knows. That is a better use of your time than a paragraph written to sound reassuring.
