My experience at A&J has been really amazing, and honestly the kind of amazing that sticks with you. When I first arrived, it was nothing like a typical language school. There was no stiff hallway vibe and no tense atmosphere. Everything just felt so chill. The air is fresh, there are trees everywhere, and stepping outside in the morning with that cool Baguio breeze hits different. Living here honestly feels a little like camping, just with classes thrown in. I think that kind of environment makes a huge difference. When you’re relaxed, you actually absorb things faster. It’s just a really comfortable place to be.
This has been one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. My English improved a lot, especially in speaking and listening. The one-on-one classes were really helpful. Teachers corrected my pronunciation and sentences right away, so I could improve faster. After a few weeks, I became more confident talking to people and felt more independent overall. The hiking activity was definitely my favorite memory. Getting out into the mountains with everyone and connecting with people from different cultures made the whole trip even more special. I’m really glad I came here.
