Geography

As part of the Cordillera Autonomous Region, Baguio is 4,600 feet above sea level. It is located in the heart  of the Cordillera Mountain Range in Northern Luzon. Weather

Baguio features a subtropical highland climate. The city is known for its cold weather and dubbed as “The Summer Capital of the Philippines” owing to its high elevation. The temperature in the city is usually about 7 to 8 °C (12.6 to 14.4 °F) cooler than the temperature in the lowland area. Average temperature ranges from 15 to 23 °C (59 to 73 °F) with the lowest temperatures between November and February.  The temperature seldom exceeds 26 °C (78.8 °F) even during the warmest part of the year.
