IELTS DOUBLE GUARATEE POLICIES
*Guarantee Course is non-refundable.
1. If IELTS guarantee students violate any A&J academy regulation 3 times, they will be removed from the guarantee program. (The course will be changed to regular IELTS course.)
2. IELTS guarantee students are required to attend every assessment test and post- test. If they refuse to take the exam, they will be removed from the guarantee program. (The course will be changed to regular IELTS course.)
3. IELTS guarantee students are required to take the vocabulary test. If they refuse to take the exam, they will be removed from the guarantee program. (The course will be changed to regular IELTS course.) IELTS guarantee students need to write all their mistakes 20 times.
4. IELTS guarantee students will be given a Daily IELTS Writing Homework Booklet, in which the student must complete a daily essay and submit to the Head Teacher by lunchtime whether getting 4.0 from the Mock test or not. IELTS guarantee students who get a score of 4.0 on the Assessment Test or Post-test they will be given the same book the following week. If the student fails to submit the book to the Head Teacher, it will count as one violation. After 3 violations, they will be removed from the guarantee program. (The course will be changed to regular IELTS course.)
5. IELTS guarantee students are immediately part of the E.O.P program. IELTS guarantee students need to talk in English 24/7 weekdays and weekends. Penalty will be given when caught speaking in their mother tongue during the weekdays. If they refuse to take the program, they will be removed from the guarantee program. (The course will be changed to regular IELTS course.)
6. IELTS guarantee students are prohibited to go out during the weekdays from Monday to Thursday. IELTS guarantee students are only allowed to go out from Friday night to Sunday.
7. IELTS guarantee students are required to take the weekly IELTS mock test. If they refuse to take this exam, they will be removed from the guarantee program. (The course will be changed to regular IELTS course.)
8. After entering the final guarantee, IELTS guarantee students are required to take the official IELTS exam every 4 weeks. Therefore, the students have to pay the required extension fees [50% of the tuition fee, accommodation fee, utility fee, maintenance fee, visa extension and official IELTS exam fee at the beginning of every 4-week extended IELTS course. If the students fail to complete the payment before the beginning of each extension, they will be considered out of the guarantee program and graduate from A&J academy. The students are not allowed to extend the 4-week IELTS guarantee course without taking the official IELTS exam.
9. As mentioned, if IELTS guarantee students finish their course in A&J academy and would like to extend regular IELTS course or other courses in the academy, it will be considered a new application. The students will have to enroll in the course through their agencies again.
10. A&J academy only accepts IELTS guarantee students temporary absences for significant family reasons (wedding or funeral). If they just want to travel or return to their country for any other purposes, they will be removed from the guarantee program. (The course will be changed to regular IELTS course.)
- Acceptable course freezing applies only to the following:
* Wedding: 5 days max (weekdays and weekends) only for parents, siblings, and children
* Funeral: 7 days max (weekdays and weekends) only for parents and children
: 5 days max (weekdays and weekends) for grandparents and siblings
11. The students who enroll in the IELTS guarantee course are required to take the official IELTS exam at least one time in Baguio 2~4 weeks before they finish their course, even if they quit the guarantee program. If the students refuse to follow this rule, they will be expelled without any refund.
*If the students don’t register the official IELTS exam in Baguio on the 4th week before they finish their course, they will be expelled on a Friday, and must check out by 12:00 pm Saturday.
- Enrollment in the IELTS Guarantee Course (12 weeks) - the students are required to register to the official IELTS exam before their 8th week, or they will be expelled on a Friday on their 8th week.
- Enrollment in the IELTS Guarantee Course (20 weeks) - the students are required to register to the official IELTS exam before their 16th week, or they will be expelled on a Friday on their 16th week.
- Enrollment in the IELTS Guarantee Course (24 weeks) - the students are required to register to the official IELTS exam before their 20th week, or they will be expelled on a Friday on their 20th week.
12. The official IELTS exam fee must be paid upon arrival or application for the IELTS guarantee course. The IELTS exam fee that the academy collects from the students is dependent on the current pricing that the different organizations who administer the IELTS charges. Fees also vary depending on the current exchange rates.
13. The students who enroll in the IELTS guarantee course cannot refund the tuition fee, accommodation fee and official IELTS exam fee.
14. IELTS guarantee students who wish to pay their accommodation fees through wire-transfer, the sender has to pay a processing fee of USD 30 more, the charge of which is non-refundable.
