Studying in A&J e-Edu Academy: Baguio English School

A lot of people nowadays have been choosing different ESL Schools in Baguio to study English and prepare for the different tests such as IELTS, TOEFL, and TOEIC. There are various reasons why students choose Baguio English schools. In my case, I have chosen A&J e-Edu Academy, one of the ESL Schools in Baguio.

My life in Baguio started in June and I experienced a lot of wonders since then. First, the temperature and surroundings here are like paradise’s compared to my own hometown in China.

I am here to study English, particularly spoken English because, in my country, even though we have been studying English since elementary school, there is a little chance for us to use it orally. I have to say Philippines is a good place to learn English. The price here is affordable and ESL schools in Baguio provide us food and accommodation as well which let me focus on studying.

My school, A&J e-Edu Academy, has a small scale. However, due to that, I almost know every student in my school and it is easy to make friends here. Making friends in the school is beneficial for practicing and improving my English skills. I talk with my friends every day. I have gained friends from Korea, Vietnam, Japan, and from Saudi Arabia. Because we come from different countries, we don’t have a choice but to speak English. And this leads me to improving my speaking skill.

I have chosen Crazy ESL as my course. My course has 8 one-on-one classes for one day.  In the beginning, I have 3 speaking classes, the rest are grammar, reading, writing, pronunciation, and listening. In the process of learning, I noticed that my grammar and pronunciation need to be enforced while I can practice listening and reading on my own. So, I talked to the Chinese manager of the school and managed to change some subjects.

Our off days start from Friday night which we call “fly day”. It has two meanings; one is that everybody is so happy that we can all take off after the tiring work or study week. Another one is some students will actually graduate on Friday and fly to other places, a ritual to English schools in Baguio. So, it is common here to have farewell party on Friday, both students and teachers will hang out together which is really fun.

On weekends, I enjoy going to the public market to buy some fruits and vegetables, to explore the local street food and cafes. Baguio is a place full of arts and artists. You will never want to miss its art museum, not to mention its beautiful sky and breathtaking sunset glow. Nature is the best artist here in Baguio .I like standing on the balcony looking at the sky after my last class, the shape of the clouds and the color of sky are both so attractive . Besides, I like playing table tennis with Arab students, they are astonishingly good at it.  I like playing basketball with kids, they are so flexible and energetic. By the way, my school has a basketball court.

Philippines without beach seems incomplete. But no worries about it because Baguio is 2 hours away from the beach. It is fun to swim and play volleyball together with friends. I have been to the beach several times even though I need to travel because it relaxes me a lot. Fortunately, I don’t need to travel hours just to go to the beach.

Choosing an English school in Baguio would be a great decision you can make because it is a perfect place for students to study. Baguio provides a perfect balance of studying and leisure and it provides a conducive environment to study and live. Choosing Baguio is good decision for me, especially choosing my school, A&J e-Edu Academy.
