A&J e-Edu Academy determines the level of the students through a series of tests during the Placement test that is held on a Monday every two weeks every month. The placement test schedule varies depending on the course of the students.
ESL and Working Holiday
For ESL and Working Holiday Students, the placement test includes Speaking, Grammar, Vocabulary, Reading, and Listening.
IELTS
For IELTS students, they will take a mock test including Reading, Writing task 1 and 2, Listening, and Speaking.
TOEIC
For TOEIC, students will take the Listening Test and the Reading test only.
TOEFL
For TOEFL, students will take Speaking, Reading, Writing, and Listening Mock test
These tests will determine their scores and levels which will also determine their studying materials. A&J assigns books to students basing on their scores per test and their levels. After the test, students will take a tour around the academy to familiarize themselves about the academy. After said facility tour, students will have their orientations with their respective managers. Then, in the afternoon, they will all go to the downtown area, specifically to SM Mall to exchange their money and buy their personal necessities. Afterwards, they have to come back and pay for their local fees and receive their books and their schedules.
These schedules are strictly followed to make sure that all students are well informed about the school policies and also, so that they can start studying comfortably.
