Course pages describe a term. They are not much good at describing a month, which is made of afternoons rather than curriculum.
So here is July as it actually happened, in photographs: a bowling alley, a film with the lights down, and a group of students finishing their course. In between were the ordinary days that nobody photographs and everybody remembers, which is most of what studying here is.
Bowling
The junior group took over a bowling alley for an afternoon. Bowling turns out to be an almost perfect language activity: nobody has to make conversation, so everybody does. You cheer, you complain about the gutter, you argue about whose turn it is, and none of that feels like practicing English even though all of it is.

Movie day
A film in English with the lights down, which sounds like a night off and is quietly one of the more useful things on the calendar. Listening to natural speech at full speed, without subtitles to lean on, is a skill of its own, and it improves faster when nobody has told you that you are studying.

Graduation
The end of a term for one group of students. Graduation here is a small ceremony rather than a grand one, and it is usually the moment somebody realizes they have just given a short speech in English to a room full of people without rehearsing it in their head first.

And the rest of it
Three photographed afternoons is not a month. The other twenty-eight days were classes, meals, the vocabulary class at seven, and the slow business of getting better at a language, none of which photographs well.
